Bloom Energy to expand Intel’s fuel cell-powered computing data centre
Bloom Energy has secured a power capacity agreement with Intel Corporation that it claims will result in Silicon Valley’s largest fuel cell-powered computing data centre.
As part of the deal, Bloom will install additional capacity at Intel’s computing data centre in Santa Clara, California. The existing fuel cell installation was first deployed by Bloom in 2014. However, capacity figures and further details have not been disclosed.
