Glencore’s copper, cobalt output falls in Q1 2024
Glencore on Tuesday reported a drop in copper and cobalt production during the first quarter of 2024, though its nickel output rose, Kallanish finds.
The Swiss mining and trading giant produced 239,700 tonnes of copper, down 2% compared to 244,100 t produced in Q1 2023, reflecting the sale of its Cobar mine in Australia in June last year.
