Nickel Industries reports lower production, sales
Australian miner Nickel Industries reported lower nickel production and sales in the March quarter due to delays in obtaining approvals for its mines in Indonesia, Kallanish notes.
The firm says that for its rotary kiln electric furnace (RKEF) operations, production fell to 31,840 tonnes in the March quarter, from 34,450 t in the previous quarter. Its RKEF sales also decreased to 32,759 t from 34,427 t.
