India demand to grow 10% annually: steel secretary
India steel secretary Nagendra Nath Sinha expects domestic steel demand to increase by 10% year-on-year over the next few years, boosted by the government's focus on infrastructure and the strong construction sector.
“The demand has grown by 13-14% year-on-year in the financial year 2023-24. It will continue to grow by 10% in the future,” Sinha was quoted as saying by NDTV Profit.
