ACEA hopes for comprehensive EU-India free trade agreement
The European automotive industry welcomed on Friday the relaunch of negotiations for the EU-India free trade agreement (FTA) and called for a comprehensive deal, Kallanish reports.
The trade body says all types of motor vehicles and automotive parts and components should benefit from “all of the elements of the agreement.” It’s requesting that tariffs on parts and components be fully eliminated, particularly engines, chassis and batteries.
