Air Liquide invests in H2 for semiconductors
In the second half of this year Air Liquide Electronics, part of French Air Liquide, will boost its production of high-purity hydrogen and other gases such as helium in the US to supply semiconductor producers. The company is planning to invest approximately €50 million ($55m) at its new facility in Phoenix, Arizona, encouraged by the recent signature of a long-term supply deal with a large semiconductor producer whose name was not revealed.
