Anglo American secures desalinated water supply for Los Bronces
Anglo American is making progress in its pledge to eliminate fresh water use in its Los Bronces copper mine in Chile with a new desalinated water supply deal, Kallanish reports.
The miner signed an agreement with local desalination and solutions provider Aguas Pacífico for the supply of nearly 50% of the mine’s water requirements. First delivery is planned from 2025.
