Anglo American starts shipping Quellaveco copper
Anglo American confirmed on Monday commercial operations have started at its $5.5 billion Quellaveco project in southern Peru, Kallanish reports.
The inaugural copper shipments follow a late final regulatory clearance, leading to lower production and higher cost guidance. First copper in the Anglo-Mitsubishi (60-40%) JV was announced on 12 July.
