Argentina’s lithium export revenues rise 234% in 2022
Strong lithium prices have helped Argentina’s mining exports revenues hit an all-time high last year of $3.86 billion, Kallanish learns from the country’s economy ministry.
Official data shows revenues from lithium exports rose by 234% last year to $696 million on an fob basis. This accounted for 18% of all mining export revenues in 2022, more than double the 6% share registered in 2021.
