Australian firm says $1.50/kg green hydrogen soon possible
Australian tech firm Hysata claims its new electrolyser has achieved 98% efficiency in producing green hydrogen from water, potentially driving production costs below $1.50/kilogram.
Hysata published its findings in the peer-reviewed Nature Communications. Its capillary-fed electrolysis cell’s 98% efficiency compares favourably with the industry-standard 75%, the company says.
