Balama graphite mine shut down by illegal labour action: Syrah Resources

Syrah Resources reports that operations at its Balama graphite mine in northern Mozambique have been temporarily suspended due to what it calls illegal industrial action by a small contingent of local employees and contractors, Kallanish reports.  Those people stopped work at the mine, Balama operations were suspended, and the company’s workforce was moved from the site, as of 20 September, the Australia-based company says.
