Benteler expands battery tray production
German tubesmaker and automotive supplier Benteler is expanding the production area at its Schwandorf location by approximately 7,500 square meters, Kallanish learns.
The company plans to produce battery trays for a further German automotive manufacturer it does not name. This is the second expansion in a very short time. The plant site already increased its production area by around 50% in October 2018 when the company started producing battery trays in Germany.
