BMW Group invests in copper extraction start-up Jetti Resources
BMW Group said Thursday it has invested in US start-up Jetti Resources to foster resource-conserving copper extraction and enhanced EV sustainability standards, Kallanish reports.
The undisclosed investment grants the German carmaker a stake in the Colorado-based company, which developed an innovative process using heap leaching. The unique catalytic leaching technology enables the extraction from previously unexploited ores.
