Brazil’s November refined copper exports drop, ore grows
Brazilian refined copper exports decreased sequentially in November. Ore shipments, however, were higher compared to October, Kallanish notes.
According to data from the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry, and Foreign Trade (Mdic), refined copper exports fell 26.2% m-o-m but were 19.2% higher y-o-y in November at 4,640 tonnes. Year-to-date, these shipments reached 73,747 t or a drop of 10.2% over the January-November period of last year.
