Britishvolt (BV) will use the UK Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC) in Coventry to develop and manufacture its next-generation sample cells for mass production and commercialisation.
The battery start-up signed a two-year, “multi-million-pound” agreement with UKBIC. The deal follows the successful development of Britishvolt’s production intent battery cells late last year, Kallanish notes.
