Chinese automaker BYD is likely to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia through expansions in India, Thailand and Vietnam, Kallanish notes.
BYD has recently shipped 304 of its Q1R electric heavy-duty vehicles to Indian multinational Adani Group's four ports - Enmomre, Katupalli, Hazira and Mundra. The vehicles are expected to arrive gradually by the end of February and operate as port tractors.
