Cadent to invest £288m into Worcestershire’s hydrogen network
The UK’s largest gas distributor Cadent is planning to invest £288 million ($377.41m) over the next five years to make Worcestershire’s gas distribution network greener with hydrogen.
According to Elliott Nelson, director at Cadent’s West Midlands Network, the company continues to do what it can to future-proof its network now, while it waits for a decision from the government on hydrogen’s full role in a net-zero economy.
