China's lithium-ion battery exports down 11% in Jan-April
Chinese lithium-ion battery exports have declined in volume, but increased in value in the four first months of the year, according to China Industrial Association of Power Sources (CIAPS).
The most recent data shows Chinese exports dropped 11% on-year to 1.13 billion batteries, which also include EV and energy storage batteries. The shipments’ value reached $21.24 billion, which is 73.2% higher than in the same period in 2022, Kallanish learns.
