COPPER: Imperial Metals to surrender Giant Copper mining claims in BC

Imperial Metals Corp is surrendering its long-held Giant Copper mineral claims in British Columbia, Kallanish reports. The company stands to gain CAD 24 million ($19.23m) in exchange for surrendering its claims along a key tributary of the Skagit River, a major salmon stream in British Columbia and Washington.
