COPPER: Taseko Mines boosts Gibraltar Mine reserves by 40%
Taseko Mines Ltd says it has increased proven and probable sulphide reserves for its Gibraltar Mine in British Columbia by 40%, Kallanish reports.
The new estimate of reserves is 706 million long tons grading 0.25% copper and allows for an extension of mine life to 23 years, an extension of two years over previous plans, the company says. That includes 509m lt of proven reserves, 191m lt of probable reserves and 6m lt of ore stockpiles with a copper cut-off of 0/1…
