Denmark to offer €170m in funding for green hydrogen projects
The European Commission has cleared Denmark’s state aid scheme to grant around €170 million ($182.2m) to support the upscaling of renewable hydrogen and derivatives production in the country.
On Wednesday, the Commission said the funding is necessary and appropriate to facilitate the production of renewable hydrogen. It has an incentive effect and will have a limited impact on competition and trade, Kallanish learns.
