Energy Fuels plans improvements to Utah rare earth mill
Energy Fuels says it has started modifying and improving its existing solvent extraction (SX) circuits at its White Mesa Mill in Utah to produce separated rare earth oxides, Kallanish reports.
The Phase 1 development work is underway in the SX building and most of the major components have been ordered. Those parts should be delivered to the mill in Q3 2023 and the $25 million project should be fully commissioned by late 2023 or early 2024.
