Equinor acquires 45% share in UK battery storage firm
Norway’s energy major Equinor confirmed on Monday it has acquired 45% of UK-based battery storage developer Noriker Power, Kallanish reports.
The undisclosed transaction gives Equinor direct access to Noriker’s project pipeline, which in the near term should surpass 500 megawatts. It also includes the option to acquire the entire company at a later stage.
