European Comission approves Romanian project for hydrogen production
The European Comission (EC) has approved Romania's state support for the production of hydrogen fuel. This should serve to reduce the EU's dependence on Russian energy carriers, says the press release of the EC.
The European Commission has approved, in accordance with EU state aid rules, a €149 million ($152m) Romanian scheme to support renewable hydrogen production, Kallanish notes.
