Giga Metals completes 2022 geotechnical work at Turnagain nickel-cobalt project
Giga Metals says the company has completed its 2022 geotechnical field programme at its Turnagain nickel-cobalt project in north-central British Columbia, Kallanish reports.
The work included four helicopter-assisted sonic-HQ geotechnical holes totalling 415 metres within the proposed main tailings storage and saddle dam areas, the British Columbia-based company says. It also included excavating 18 test pits within the proposed stockpile and waste storage areas.
