Ineos to boost H2 production in France to decarbonise transport
UK-based chemical manufacturer Ineos Inovyn plans to invest in new hydrogen purification and compression systems at its facility in Tavaux, eastern France, Kallanish reports.
The aim is to increase production of its high-purity low-carbon hydrogen to supply the automotive sector from 2026. Current production at the Tavaux site stands at over 10,000 tonnes/year. Details on future volumes and investment size weren’t disclosed.
