Iran discovers massive deposit of lithium
The Iranian government recently claims to have discovered a massive 8.5 million tonne lithium deposit in Gahavand Plain, Hamadan, in the west of the country, Kallanish learns from Tasnim News Agency.
Mohammad Hadi Ahmadi, an official at Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, says: "For the first time in Iran, a lithium reserve has been discovered in the mountainous Hamedan province in the west of Iran."
