Canada-based Li-Cycle Holdings Corp plans to build a commercial lithium-ion battery recycling plant in southern Norway in cooperation with a new joint venture.
Partnering are ECO STOR AS and Morrow Batteries AS, Kallanish reports. Both will furnish old batteries and battery scrap to the joint venture to be recycled. Li-Cycle will be the majority owner with the other two companies being minority owners and Nordic-headquartered strategic partners.
