Meld Energy plans £180 million green hydrogen facility in UK’s Saltend
International hydrogen development company Meld Energy has selected Saltend Chemicals Park in Hull, UK, to build a 100-megawatt (MW) green hydrogen facility, Kallanish reports.
The company plans to invest around £180-240 million ($222-297m) in the project, which it expects to be the UK’s largest green hydrogen production facility. The developer suggested production capacity could double at a later development stage.
