Nel FIDs PEM production expansion in the US
Norwegian electrolyser manufacturer Nel said on Tuesday it will build 500 megawatts of PEM electrolyser production capacity in the US, ahead of a planned gigafactory, Kallanish reports.
The company’s board approved the NOK 260 million ($25.15m) investment to expand production capacity at its PEM manufacturing facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. Full capacity at the new production line is expected in 2025.
