NICKEL, COPPER: Russian nickel, copper shipments continue to fall
Russian nickel shipments and copper deliveries decreased further in January-November, according to the country’s latest federal customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Exports of unprocessed nickel decreased by 42.5% on-year to 45,100 tonnes. In monetary terms, shipments fell by 43.2% to $789.4 million. In October, Russia did not export nickel, while in October 2020 supplies of this metal abroad amounted to 9,000 t.
