Norwegian companies link up for lithium-ion battery production
Vianode and Morrow Batteries have signed an agreement for the large-scale supply of anode materials to Morrow’s planned lithium-ion battery cell facility, in in Eyde Energy Park, Arendal, Norway.
Morrow is currently in the process of establishing its 42 gigawatt-hour gigafactory, which utilises 100% renewable hydroelectric power with the intention to manufacture batteries with the lowest possible CO2 footprint.
