Reedy Lagoon scraps plans for Oregon lithium brine project
An Australia-based mining company has scrapped plans to develop a lithium brine project in southeast Oregon in the western United States, Kallanish reports.
Reedy Lagoon Corp, with headquarters near Melbourne, says it has ended work on its Alvord lithium brine project near Fields, Oregon, after finding out that the land was off-limits to new mining, it says in a five-sentence statement.
