Rio Tinto, Volvo Group reveal value chain partnership
Rio Tinto and Volvo Group announced Tuesday a partnership to contribute to a mutual decarbonisation of its operations, including supply of raw materials and piloting of autonomous hauling solutions.
Under the MOU inked by the parties, Rio Tinto will supply the automotive manufacturer with “responsibly sourced low-carbon products” including lithium, aluminium, copper, and metallics.
