Russia launches Moskvich EV production in Moscow
The Moskvich Automotive Plant, formerly Renault’s Moscow carmaking plant, relaunched production of cars and electric vehicles on 23 November.
The plant has started the production of Moskvich 3 crossovers, Kallanish notes. In January 2023, the crossovers should go to dealers in Moscow and, in March, sales will begin throughout Russia.
By the end of this year, the company plans to produce about 600 cars, including 200 EVs. Next year, production volumes must …
