Russia predicts 50% drop in demand for copper
Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade expects that copper consumption in Russia in 2022 will fall to about 220,000 - 250,000 tonnes, according to a draft strategy for the development of the metallurgical industry until 2030, Kallanish notes.
Such a fall means that demand for these metals will halve, assume Russian analysts.
