Russian EV sales increase significantly, domestic brand leads
Russian sales of electric vehicles increased in February, despite a big fall in the domestic car market, data from the Russian analytical agency Autostat shows.
Russia’s new EV registrations were up by 90% on-year to 550 units, Kallanish notes. In January-February, Russians purchased 909 new EVs, which is 61% more than a year ago.
