Russian scientists develop hydrogen catalysts for cheaper production
The Russian Institute of Laser and Plasma Technologies of the National Research Nuclear University (LaPlaz Institute, NRNU MEPhI) is developing new environmentally friendly catalysts for producing hydrogen from water, as well as materials for storing and transporting the resulting fuel, Kallanish notes.
The results obtained will help make hydrogen energy cheaper, more environmentally friendly and safer, according to the university researchers.
