Severstal expands hydrogen exploration with new investment
Russian miner and steelmaker Severstal has invested in Canadian low-carbon hydrogen production technology company Ekona Power Inc, the steelmaker says.
Ekona uses a relatively new methane pyrolysis process, involving conversion of natural gas into hydrogen and solid carbon.
