Stellantis to build gigafactory in Canada
Stellantis will build a gigafactory in the Canadian city of Windsor, Ontario, in partnership with LG Energy Solution (LGES), Kallanish learns from a company representative. The partners will create a joint venture company that will build and operate the large scale lithium-ion battery cells and modules plant designed “to meet a significant portion of Stellantis’ vehicle production requirements in North America," the company says.
