Syrah Resources outlines US anode deal with LGES
Australia’s Syrah Resources announced Thursday it has signed an MOU to supply South Korea’s LG Energy Solution (LGES) with natural graphite active anode materials (AAM) in the US, Kallanish reports.
The preliminary deal covers the supply of 2,000 tonnes/year of AAM from Syrah’s Vidalia facility in Louisiana, starting from 2025. The plan is to then later increase supplies to at least 10,000 t/y, based on Vidalia’s expansion plan to 45,000 t/…
