The European Investment Bank (EIB) is assessing the grant of up to €300 million ($309.5m) in debt financing to Talga’s Vittangi anode project in Sweden, Kallanish reports.
According to Talga, the EU’s lending arm has progressed the funding request after a preliminary screening, under which “substantial” due diligence was undertake to date. The project was advanced to “under appraisal” status in preparation for a decision.
