Tata Motors set to announce UK gigafactory next week: report
Tata Motors is set to announce a battery gigafactory in Somerset next week, as its chairman travels to London to meet the UK prime minister mid-week, the BBC reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, the UK’s expected success in attracting a multi-billion-pound investment “has not been easily or cheaply won.” The package offered by the UK is expected in cash grants, energy subsidies and other training and research funding.
