Tees Valley Lithium receives planning green lights for UK lithium refinery
Tees Valley Lithium (TVL) has received full planning permission to build Europe’s largest lithium hydroxide refinery at Teesside, UK, according to UK-listed parent company Alkemy Capital Investments.
The refinery located at the Wilton International Chemicals Park in the Teesside Freeport will produce 96,000 tonnes/year of lithium hydroxide at full capacity. First production is scheduled for 2025 and may include lithium carbonate, Kallanish learns.…
