Toyota bumps up hybrid investment by $90m in Appalachia
Toyota plans to pump another $90 million into its West Virginia and Tennessee hybrid transaxle facilities due to increased demand, Kallanish learns from a company statement.
Toyota West Virginia will receive an additional $73m, while Toyota Tennessee will receive $17m. In November, Toyota dedicated $240m to the West Virginia facility.
