Toyota, Isuzu and Hino announce BEV, FCEV bus cooperation
Japanese carmakers Isuzu, Hino and Toyota are planning to accelerate bus electrification developments targeting production of a flat-floor all-electric bus in 2024.
The idea is for Toyota’s subsidiary Hino and Isuzu to start production of the BEV through their J-Bus joint venture. The partners have been collaborating in the bus business since 2002, Kallanish notes.
