UK innovation funding awards 17 battery-related projects
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) awarded on Thursday 17 projects supporting innovation in propulsion battery technologies for EVs with a £27.6 million ($30m) funding round, Kallanish reports.
The funding from the Faraday Battery Challenge will be delivered by Innovate UK to consortia of companies and universities, exploring battery recycling, digital twins, new battery materials, and new manufacturing techniques.
