Ukraine registers 33,000 EVs, eyes electric transport infrastructure
More than 33,000 electric vehicles (EVs), both new and second-hand, were registered in Ukraine as of 1 January this year, according to first deputy head of State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) Andriy Ivko.
“Last year alone, Ukrainians bought 8,800 electric cars and, according to the strategic goals of the state, the number of electric vehicles should increase significantly,” Ivko adds.
