UK BEV market share falls for the first time since pandemic in October
UK electric vehicle registrations continue to grow in volume, but October was the first month since May 2021 that BEV market share has fallen, Kallanish reports.
According to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), BEV registrations rose by 23.4% on-year to 19,933 units. However, the uptake grew by less than the overall market, driving its market share down to 14.8% compared to 15.2% in October 2021.
