Umicore commissions CAM gigafactory in Poland
Belgium materials technology group Umicore inaugurated on Wednesday its cathode active materials (CAM) gigafactory in Nysa, Poland, Kallanish reports.
The carbon-neutral facility, which runs on 100% onshore wind power, is set to reach annual production capacity of 20 gigawatt-hours by the end of 2023 and 40 GWh in 2024.
